Child Migration - Required Documents

• Fully completed and signed Form 47CH
• If there is more than one child, they must each complete an application form 47CH but only one fee is payable if the applications are lodged together
• Fully completed and signed form 40CH by your Australian parent
• Evidence of your parent’s permanent resident visa in Australia or Australian citizenship/and or passport
• Four (4) recent passport-size photographs of yourself and each member of your family unit included in the application
• Valid passport and passport photocopy. Please bring your passport when you lodge your application.
• A true copy of your original birth certificate, with English translation, and for each person included in the application
• Penal certificate from the Jordanian Ministry of Justice with English translation for applicants over 18 years old. Also penal certificates from any other country where you have resided for more than 12 months in the past 10 years
• If the child applying for the visa is 18 or over, evidence of child’s financial dependency on sponsor, including receipts of financial remittances over a substantial period
• If the child is 18 or over, evidence of continuing and current enrolment in studies.
• If the child is under 18, consent in the form of affidavit or statutory declaration from any non migrating parent and/or guardian of the child or a court document giving right to decide where the child can live to the sponsor

Visa Application Charge (VAC)

The VAC is payable at the counter in cash in Jordanian Dinars ONLY. If your sponsor wishes to pay at a DIAC office in Australia, please lodge with your application the pink copy of the receipt that was issued to your sponsor as evidence of payment.
